There is Resveratrol present in other parts of the Japanese knotweed plant, but the roots are by far the most concentrated source of the more bioactive trans-Resveratrol form.

With all our herbal supplements, we look for the ingredient source with the highest concentration of the desired ingredient as well as the optimal molecular form of that active.
How is your Resveratrol tested?
We have a trusted third-party lab to test for trans-Resveratrol potency using an HPLC method. HPLC is the most accurate and discerning analysis method. Other test methods are cheaper but give a blurred picture of the compounds in the final product.
