Resveratrol – The Vitality Powerhouse
Resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants neutralize unstable molecules called free radicals, which come from normal bodily functions as well as exposure to things like air pollution and radiation. Free radicals cause oxidative stress, the source of most common signs of aging.
We often think of Resveratrol as a "red wine extract," but this is a lower-quality form. Trans-Resveratrol is easier for the body to use, making it the superior form. The purest source of trans-Resveratrol is the root system of Japanese knotweed, one of the worst invasive species on Earth. So, we can put these plants to a good use!
The Prominent Difference

Our supplement is standardized to 98% trans-Resveratrol
- This level of purity ensures the highest quality. No byproducts or adulterants (a secret mixture of two substances falsely claimed as just one).
We source our Resveratrol from Japanese knotweed
- Japanese knotweed roots are the best source for trans-Resveratrol. This is the bioactive form of Resveratrol, meaning the body absorbs and uses it more easily.
Our Resveratrol’s potency is tested using High-performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
- HPLC is the best way to test trans-Resveratrol potency, thanks to its accuracy and analysis method.
Why Not Use Red Wine Extract?
We care about giving you the best version of Resveratrol possible. Red wine grapes are a decent source of Resveratrol, but they fall short in potency.
Grape skins in many "red wine extract" products are covered in fungicides that contaminate the Resveratrol. We could probably still find a great, clean red wine extract vendor to work with, though.
The potency cannot be solved: the grapes carry the cis-Resveratrol form. It is less bioactive than the trans-Resveratrol we get from Japanese knotweed. The choice is easy for us—your health comes first.
